What it’s like to work with us

We offer an inspiring, well-equipped work environment and competitive salary. You’ll be part of a dedicated team of professionals, where our 3D artists’ work is strongly dependent on the material prepared and supplied to them by You.
We foster professional development through peer-to-peer coaching, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

The skills you will need:

As an Architecture 3D modeler, you will be responsible for handling the pre-work, meaning the preparation of incoming architectural material from architects, like buildings, details and terrain. These need to be cleaned, optimized and arranged, materials applied, water and Forest elements placed, ending in a smooth and well-prepared base-file, ready for drafting.

You’ll also be in charge of creating correct, detailed, and visually appealing 3D models for various projects, be it architecture, furnishing or accessories etc.
All this will be done in collaboration with the Creative Directors and with the 3D artist team members, to ensure the seamless integration of models into the final product.

Key resposibilities

  • Detail Enhancement: Sculpt and add intricate details to 3D scenes, such as details of streets, landscaping and buildings, as well as implementing Forest Pack elements.
  • Optimization: Optimize geometry to maintain performance and compatibility with downstream departments.
  • Modeling: Create high-quality hard surface CG models based on briefs or reference materials.
  • UV Mapping: Ensure consistent UV mapping for texture application.
  • Texture Mapping: Facilitate the creation of high-quality photo-real texture maps.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Creative Directors to meet project requirements.

Technical skills and Qualifications required:

  • Proficiency in 3dsMax, Vray, Forest Pack and Railclone.
  • Modeling skills in other software (e.g. Blender, Unreal, Rhino) is a plus.
  • Understanding of architecture, the sizes and scale of common architectural elements like streets, bike lanes, sidewalks, benches, railings, mullions, etc.
  • Knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR) principles.

Creative Skills:

  • Eye for proportions, silhouette, and gesture.
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of modeling, while keeping the scenes optimised.
  • Ability to create clean topology and efficient UV layouts.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Intermediate level English: no certificate is required, but you should be able to express yourself and understand others in a professional setting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration within a team.
  • Adaptability to project requirements and feedback.

Experience and Portfolio:

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your modeling skills, attention to detail, and ability to create compelling 3D models, assets and environments, including basic materials and Forest Pack elements.
The examples should highlight your previous work done in architecture specifically.

Please note:

Although the final products created by our production consist of finely crafted artistic creations, through animations and still images, the pre-work and modeling part, however well aided by some artistic skills, will not require the modeler to participate in actual image or animation creation. Thus, if your aspirations as a 3D modeler or a 3D artist is the creation of high-end architectural visualizations, then please note, that this role offered, in the process of production, will not contain these elements of the creative process.

But our door is open to experienced modelers with experience in architecture to get in touch and join our team!
We look forward to your application!
